How to Add App Icon In Android Studio

Adding app icon in android studio.

App icon is like representing your app, it has to be attractive and beautiful in app store and stand out in home screen. Adding your beautiful App Icon in Android Studio is very easy it just has five Steps, follow the steps. 

Open your Android project in Android Studio to which you want to add App Icon, Before that you need to make your app size 512*512 pixels, you can easily do it by using Microsoft Paint. Open your image in Paint. Click on Resize option.

Select the Pixels option.

Unchecke the Maintain aspect ratio.

make it 512 * 512 pixel.

click OK.

     click on save.

Open your Android project in Android Studio to which you want to add app icon,in project select ic_launcher-web.org.

right now by default, this is your app icon, now we going to change it.

in project-src-res-left click select new.

in that select Image Asset.

Select Image click on next.

Browse the Image path click OK.

you can also trim the image, if you don't want to do anything click next.

click finish.

your app icon is been set let's run the project choose the emulator in device chooser. you can clearly see its been set as app icon.
